Vibes are platform transcendent. They can be imported into Rhizome from any other platform on the web, or uploaded manually piece by piece. Once created, a Vibe can connect with any AI-powered app or creator tool in Rhizome's ecosystem.
Vibes are dynamic by nature. A Vibe can hold any kind of media: tweets, TikTok videos, messaging history, vacation photos, voice memos. And via large language models, Vibes can translate from one form of media to another: a playlist generated from an Instagram account, a movie generated from a meme folder. The potential is limitless.
Aligned Algorithms
Rhizome does not set engagement maximization as the goal for our AI. Rather our models are rhizomatic, embedded within, serving more as co-pilot than driver. While traditional platforms split users into creators and spectators, Rhizome blurs that line as all users are part and parcel of the(ir own) creative process.
Users shape the emergent direction of the vibes they interact with, adding and removing content, merging vibes, seeding new vibes, connecting with others. Rhizome’s medium is much more expansive for unleashed desire and creative agency. Vibes form in a co-creative process between user and other users, and user and AI model.
Within Rhizome there are no ‘users’ and ‘creators’, only creatives of different kinds.
